Mentis Beacon keeps a small room for one subject: how SOL moves on a receipt, and how the Solana network fee is split between a signature, a priority fee, and a balance the account holds.
Hours
Saturday
10:00–12:00 when a table is open. We open a date after two seats are requested and stop at four.
Sunday–Monday
Closed. The lamp stays off. Email waits in the box until Tuesday morning.
What the shelves hold
Drawer A
Sample transfers with a single signature and a base fee of 5,000 lamports. Used when a visitor arrives without a printout.
Drawer B
Samples that add a priority fee. The compute-unit price is visible so the middle column has a source.
Drawer C
Short notes on rent-exempt balances for accounts of different sizes. Addresses are trimmed off. These notes feed the third column.
Under the blotter
The lamport card: 1 SOL = 1,000,000,000 lamports. We turn it over when the fraction becomes a distraction from the receipt.
House rules
- Printed receipts and library samples stay on the table during the sitting.
- Seed phrases and private keys stay at home.
- One visitor at the window desk per appointment.
- Phones stay silent; the Saturday table is not recorded.
- English is the language of the worksheet and the samples.
Reserve a chair
The desk session is the chair for your own receipt. The Saturday table is the chair for shared samples. Tell us which one you want and the date you can travel to Munbong-dong.
